HISTORY
In 1958, Joseph C. Ripberger founded the J.C. Ripberger Construction Corporation. By combining his own prior experience as a general manager in the field with a strong, entrepreneurial spirit, Joseph patiently grew J.C. Ripberger into one of Indiana’s largest general contractors of his day.
Joe steadfastly believed that the success of J.C. Ripberger would always be driven by healthy relations between his employees, owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors. In the field, he espoused the overarching principles of integrity, teamwork, and construction know-how.
Upon Joe's passing in 1993, leadership of the business was transferred to his wife, Marti Ripberger. Marti acted as President and CEO until 1997, at which time her grandson and then Vice President of Operations, William Ripberger, Jr., was promoted into her role. Today, Bill remains President and CEO of the firm and continues to adhere to the principles that Joe set in place over 60 years ago.
